Terms
Terms of Use
These terms explain how Carlarity reports should be used and what you should verify before making a vehicle purchase decision.
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms apply to use of the Carlarity web app. The site owner should complete the contracting party details before public launch: [Insert legal company name].
About The Service
Carlarity provides UK vehicle intelligence for car buyers, including valuation guidance, MOT history interpretation, ownership signals, integrity checks, negotiation guidance and inspection prompts.
- Free reports provide initial vehicle checks and broad buyer guidance from available data.
- Premium reports provide deeper buyer intelligence for a one-time price of £7.99 per report.
- Premium is not a subscription unless Carlarity introduces a separate subscription product in future.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Access may be linked to the browser, device or account used for purchase.
Vehicle Data And Valuations
- Vehicle data can be incomplete, delayed, unavailable or supplied differently across providers.
- Valuations are estimates and benchmarks, not guaranteed sale prices or offers to buy.
- The Professional Dealer Benchmark is a specification-led valuation reference where available.
- Carlarity Buyer Value adjusts buyer guidance for report signals such as risk, condition evidence and ownership context.
- Finance, write-off, theft, mileage, recall and MOT checks depend on provider availability and should be verified before purchase.
Report outputs are buyer-support tools. They should be read alongside the advert, seller answers, documents, invoices, vehicle condition and any professional inspection.
Your Responsibilities Before Buying
- Inspect the vehicle physically before buying.
- Check the VIN, V5C, seller identity, service history and repair invoices.
- Consider an independent mechanical inspection for higher-value, older, modified or risk-flagged vehicles.
- Do not rely on Carlarity as a guarantee that a vehicle is safe, roadworthy, finance-free, fault-free or suitable for purchase.
Payments, Cancellations And Refunds
Premium reports are generated and supplied digitally shortly after purchase. Cancellation rights may be affected once the service has begun, subject to applicable consumer law.
This does not affect statutory rights you may have where a service is faulty, not supplied as described, or where rights cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer law.
Acceptable Use
You must not misuse Carlarity, attempt to bypass payment or access controls, scrape the service at scale, attack the platform, submit unlawful material, or use reports to mislead another person.
Intellectual Property And Availability
Carlarity branding, interface design, report presentation and analysis outputs are protected by intellectual property rights. The service may be interrupted or changed for maintenance, provider availability, security or product reasons.
Liability And Legal Rights
Carlarity does not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer law.
Subject to those rights, Carlarity is not responsible for decisions made solely from a report without verifying the vehicle, seller and documents.
Governing Law, Changes And Contact
These Terms are intended for a UK-focused service. The site owner should confirm the final governing-law wording before public launch. Carlarity may update these Terms as the product changes.
